“Food here is always very nice. I often feel I should leave a bad review just so it doesn't become too popular. But if you enjoy proper home cooked food and like to look out over the harbour then I would whole heartedly recommend booking a table here and find out for yourselves. On this occasion I had a lovely roast dinner. Which was very tasty. (But, I think I still prefer their breakfasts that is just my personal preference and is no reflection on the quality of the food.)”

“Quiet place, no atmosphere as such. But pleasant enough. Good good, service fine. Had breakfast buffet "£13 nothing to combine about , all good. Good for a meeting over breakfast as fairly quiet. I parked directly outside which is 30 mins no return, but I have a disabled badge which took away that worry.”

“Had a fantastic experience at Riggers Restaurant and Slipway Bar! The atmosphere was relaxed with beautiful views over the water, and the food was both delicious and well-priced. What really stood out was the service — especially from our server, Lili. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely warm and professional. Would definitely come back — highly recommend!”

“Beautiful location with harbour views and outdoor tables and sofas. Service was cheery and genuine. We had sweet potato soup which was homemade. Our steaks were super tasty and I loved that the mushrooms and tomatoes had been done on the steak griddle. So super juicy and tasty. Chips really good too.”

“A lovely restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere, view over the marina, and the inside is exquisitely decorated. The burger was juicy and tasty, the chips nice and fluffy inside, and the burger sauce delicious. The chocolate fudge cake, off of the specials menu for today (Saturday) was also nice. The only note I have is the glasses were a bit streaky, maybe due to how the dishwasher works, so maybe a change in how they are cleaned is needed. Other than that, I would definitely go back and recommend all to go and try out the Riggers Restaurant, not least to help support the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at sea.”
